Selecting text on my iPhone has always been frustrating, but it’s been especially so since they stopped magnifying the text when you long press it. What I didn’t know, until recently, is that Apple updated the way the cursor works in iOS 12. Two years ago!
Here’s the trick. Ready? When you need to move your cursor through your text for edits, press and hold the keyboard spacebar. The keys will turn blank, and now your keyboard is a trackpad. Awesome, right? So happy to find this and just as happy to share it with all of you!
